Data & sources
All figures derive from public-domain U.S. Census Bureau data. The site adds navigation, calculation and original explanation; the tables themselves remain the Bureau's.
Published sources

Reproducibility
The source files live in the project's data/source/ directory. npm run data:import regenerates the catalog from them; npm run data:check fails if the committed catalog no longer matches the sources. No network access is used at build time.
See the methodology for how the effective rate is defined and its limits.
